the only thing i use AB for is fun and messing about with weird elites to try and make builds. even tried to make build around [Amity]. it involved that and life stealing stuff, that still is not the worst build I have seen.

OMG I kept running into this guy a few days ago. It was so funny cuz he thought everyone was going after him, slaps both of them on and the entire group just past him.

Ooh, speaking of Dolyak Signet wammos... a while ago, I met your stereotypical wammo (complete with Mending and gray Pigmail) in an alliance battle.
So, he sees my warrior and her faithful Rainbow Phoenix heading from the Kurzick base to the Resurrection Shrine... and rushes at me like a madman. He puts up both Ripostes, Dolyak Signet, and Gladiator's Defense, then he starts whacking me with his sword for about 4 or 5 damage each hit.
I run away easily and he gets flattened by a touch ranger in about 7 seconds...

Met an assassin nuker in AB awhile ago. He started his chain wis Meteor Shower, followed up with Fire Storm and then he died and I couldn't see the rest of his interesting skill bar.
Also an necro with only beast master skills and a warrior with 6 healing skills + power attack + ress signet was fun to see =)

O rly?
Because my bar > shrines.
[signet of illusions][ether feast][diversion][arcane echo][glyph of lesser energy][meteor shower][eruption][maelstrom]
And while my nukes are destroying shrines, I'm dropping echo'd diversions on any human player who looks like a fun target.
Caster shrines don't bother me due to [meteor shower] + [maelstrom].
Melee and ranger shrines don't bother me due to [meteor shower] + [eruption].
And in all honesty, being able to poop out aoes like that in half the time it takes an ele (even less if my HCT mods kick in) is totally worth it.
I almost never have energy problems unless it's long fights, and people in AB are usually dumb enough to stand in my aoes and bunch up.

ahhh there is justice in this world right? XD
Its funny how some of them get pissed when you run after you see them spamming ripostes. Intelligence ftw?
I don't see the problem with FC mesmers, theres lots of much worse stuff being run. BY far

I was going to make a lengthy reply as to how you lack proper energy managment, and in general your build is... not especially effective, but I'd rather question what in the world you think you're doing. If you're sticking with your group, you'd be more useful running something else, and solo capping ability is moot. If you're solo capping, any stray person from the other side can easily kill you if they happen to wander your way. Your only damage is DoT AoE, and you lack snares... While I see, and admit, you could very well kill a shrine on your own... If you're with your party, you shouldn't need to kill it on your own. If you're alone, any (player) would likely kill you.

It's not unusual to have someone (generally an Ele) equipped to completely destroy the shine on their own.
I think you kinda missed the point - Nowhere did ToastGod say they weren't sticking with their team.
1 Player out of 4 who can clear a shrine gives the other three players (..In a balanced team, generally a Monk, War & Support) much more freedom to do what they do best i.e. handle the other human threats.
Once the shrine is clear, obviously ToastGod is equipped to assist.
(Exhaustion might be a bit of a pain though..admittedly I would drop Ether Feast, go for more in the way of E-management..and get a good monk)
